The school's identity, in part, is derived from the vision, mission, values, beliefs and goals of the school, the processes used to establish these attributes, and the ways they are embodied in the life of the school.

Using data from the 2012 and 2014 Teacher Working Condition survey, I created a modified version of the survey that was focused on the school's biggest challenges. The results were shared with staff and used by administrators to address concerns prior to completion of the 2016 TWC survey.

I created a parent survey to gather information on parents' perception of instruction and the school environment. I compiled the data and comments into a powerpoint which I presented to the staff during a staff meeting. The results were utilized to develop action steps to improve teaching and learning.

iReady is identified in the school improvement plan as a strategy to be used for student achievement. I was responsible for managing the implementation of iReady and compiling the data. I created the powerpoint to compare beginning of year results to middle of year results. I also included recommendations to improve usage and results for 2016-2017.
1D: Distributive Leadership
The school executive creates and utilizes processes to distribute leadership and decision making throughout the school.

Teachers were concerned about the lack of supervision in certain areas of the campus prior to first bell. I encouraged them to find a solution. The above email captures some of the communication while the map represents their recommendations for teacher assignments.
