Elementary School Developmental Project
The focus of the Elementary Developmental Project was on the growth and development of PreK-5. The compilation of the information gathered to create the weebly is to be used as a resource to families in the Nash-Rocky Mount Schools communities. A brief video explaining what can be expected at each stage of development for elementary school students is included. |
Middle School Developmental Project
Middle school can be awkward years for students. They are highly social often subjected to peer pressure. Two focus groups were interviewed to demystify the "misunderstood middle schooler." The students shared honest feedback regarding what is important to them, as well as the challenges they face. Parents and teachers also shared their perspectives on what they think is important to middle school students. |
High School Developmental Project
High school students want to do things their way, have freedom, and be independent. At this stage, students want to distance themselves from adults thus beginning to identify with specific groups while establishing a sense of who they are. Our project centers around two students who share the interconnectivity of high school with their lives outside of school. |
